Architectural Vision
An architecture that enhances the past… and elevates everyday living
Palmerston is not just a residential development — it is a vision.
Here, architectural heritage meets contemporary living, creating an exceptional residential experience in the heart of Brussels. The project preserves and enhances the historic façades of the existing buildings, ensuring harmonious integration within the prestigious character of the neighborhood.
The historic stone becomes the foundation of a refined and elegant contemporary renewal.
A harmonious blend of heritage and modernity
The Palmerston buildings, dating from the second half of the twentieth century, are known for their generous proportions and strong presence within the urban fabric. Rather than erasing them, the project chooses to enhance their value by giving them a new life dedicated to high-end residential living.
The existing façades are preserved and elevated, creating an elegant dialogue between heritage and contemporary architecture. This approach allows the development to integrate naturally into the urban landscape while reinforcing the identity of the neighborhood.
About The Building
The PALMERSTON project is developed on a through-plot and consists of two buildings: one facing Avenue Palmerston and the other Rue des Éburons, forming a coherent and harmonious ensemble. Where this plot was once entirely built up, the central space now opens onto a large garden planted directly in the ground, a true oasis that brings light, greenery, and tranquility to the residents.
The buildings on Avenue Palmerston, originally converted into offices in the 1950s, will undergo an ambitious transformation into elegant and comfortable apartments. Their redesigned architecture will offer high-end residences with refined finishes and generous living spaces.
The building on Rue des Éburons, newly constructed, will feature more compact apartments, carefully designed and ideal for investors, young professionals, or smaller households wishing to benefit from the quality of a newly built project.
A Diverse Range of Apartment Types
The Palmerston project offers 37 elegant apartments spread across two distinct buildings, each with its own atmosphere and level of comfort. The mix of units has been carefully designed to meet a wide range of needs:
50% smaller units (studios and one-bedroom apartments), perfect for investors, young professionals, or a pied-à-terre.
50% larger apartments (two bedrooms and more), ideal for families or those seeking greater comfort and space.
Notably, 20% of the homes are spacious three-bedroom apartments, a rare offering in the neighborhood.
