Office Spaces
In A New Light

Step inside Ecla, a radiant force of energy in Brussels. On the corner of Rue Belliard and Rue
de Trèves the light leads the way throughout this office building, where workflows move as freely
as the light does.

The ECLA project consists of the integration and refurbishment of the Trève 74 building, BRUSSIMMO (designed by SAMYN and PARTNERS architects & engineers, 1989), and the Belliard 68 building (designed by A. and K. Polak, 1972), by ALTSTADT, NWLND, Jeroen Provoost and JASPERS-EYERS Architects.

Architectural Vision

The architectural interventions are summarized and presented according to four key guiding principles

  1. Enhancing the existing structure

  2. Active and permeable ground floor

  3. The extension as an urban balcony

  4. The garden as a unifying element

About The Building

Located at 68 Rue Belliard and 74 Rue de Trèves, this property occupies a prime corner in Brussels’ European Quarter, just steps from the main EU institutions, offering excellent visibility and connectivity.

The redevelopment will introduce residential, retail and amenities, reduce the building footprint to create more green space, and transform underused areas such as underground parking into adaptable, high-value spaces—supporting a more vibrant and sustainable European Quarter.
